The Metform FN type of Roll Seam Welder is an AC resistance welding system.

Metal is overlapped and jointed between the 2 rolling wheels.

Basically the welder may work in two way: 1) longitudinal welding, welding in straight line in direction of welding arm.
2) circumferential or transverse weld, welding in transverse direction of welding arm. Lower Arm and welding wheel (Roller Electrodes) will be designed for different work piece shape and size, please refer to the pictures for reference. Electrodes:upper and lower welding wheels, made of special high conductivity copper alloy.
